Vidarbha Golf Association had organised VGA Golf Cup 2024 at AKSTA, Nagpur from 22nd to 24th November 2024. More than 115 Golfers participated in the event under different categories like Open, Super Senior, Veterans, Mid-Amature, Ladies & Juniors. Held over three vibrant days, the tournament offered an exhilarating display of skill, sportsmanship, and competitive spirit on the greens.
The prize distribution Ceremony was held in the evening at AKSTA. Air Marshal Vijay Kumar Garg AVSM VSM, AOC-in-C Maintenance Command & Patron AKSTA were the Chief Guest of the program and also gave away the prizes to Winners.
AVM VS Choudhary VM, Mrs Choudhary and Subhash Gupta, President, Vidarbha Golf Association also distributed prizes to winners & runners-up of various categories and other motivational prizes.
The Winners of VGA Golf Cup - 2024 were Gp. Capt. R. S. Pawar.
Shri. Ramesh Chopde and Gp. Capt. R. N. Bhat were declared the 1st & 2nd Runner-up in the Open Category.
Shri. Parnab Chaudhary was the winner in Veterans Category and Master Kale was declared winner in Junior Category. More than 150 members along with their families participated in the prize distribution ceremony of the tournament.
Shri. Lav Bajaj, Secretary, Vidarbha Golf Association proposed the Vote of Thanks.
All Executive members of VGA, notably Dr. Vinay Tule, Lav Bajaj, Raju Sharma, Tushar Khurana, Manoj Jindal, Namrish Baruka & Team AKSTA actively participated to make the tournament a grand success.
