The GEPTA VGA MMR Cup 2024, co-sponsored by the Vidarbha Golf Association (VGA), was successfully organized by GEPTA, Kamptee, on September 22, 2024. The tournament saw enthusiastic participation from over 50 golfers, comprising members of the VGA and GEPTA Golfers, across various categories.
The event was graced by Chief Guest Maj. Gen. Sanjay K. Vidyarathi, GOC, HQ UM & Sub Area, Nagpur, and Mrs. Gargi Madam. The prize distribution ceremony was led by them along with VGA President, Mr. Subhash Chander.
Mr. Anuj Singh emerged as the winner of the prestigious Golf Cup 2024. In a continued effort to promote the sport, prizes were also awarded in several other categories.
The program was conducted by Lt. Col. J. K. Manish with precision and grace.
As part of the ceremony, the Vidarbha Golf Association presented the “Golfing Out” trophy to Col. N. C. Joshi, Captain of the Course, in recognition of the outstanding support extended to golfers from Vidarbha.
Throughout the event, the executive members of the Vidarbha Golf Association—Mr. T. S. Renu (Joint Secretary), CA Raju Sharma (Treasurer), Mr. Rajiv Agarwal, Mr. Anuj Singh, Mr. Manoj Jindal, and others—played a vital role in ensuring the tournament's success.
