Meet our VGA Member, Group Captain Ravi Bhate, Level 3 TARS Official certified by R & A.
Group Captain Ravi Bhate is a Level 3 TARS (Tournament Administrators and Referees Seminar) official certified by The R&A having successfully qualified at St Andrews, Scotland, in February 2023, following his nomination by the Indian Golf Union (IGU).
He is empanelled as a Rules Official with both the IGU and the Vancouver Golf Tour (VGT) in British Columbia, Canada.
With extensive experience, he has officiated in over 50 golf events across India and Canada, and conducted professional, amateur, and club-level tournaments. His expertise spans committee procedures, including the formulation of Local Rules, course setup, course marking, and scoring.
